While player-versus-player games
are common in brick-and-mortar casinos, player-versus-dealer games are more
widespread in online
casinos. The reason is simple: online games are
highly personalized and it is difficult, if not impossible to set up two
players to compete against each other on the same game at the same time. The
games, whether cards or slots, were also designed to service individual
players—regardless if one of more punters play it all at the same time.
The following are some of the
most played banking games (cards) currently offered in online casinos:
Three Knights. This card game is played with a single deck of
cards. Number cards are valued according to their face value, Ace counts as
one, while the court cards (King, Queen, and Jack cards) are valued at zero.
Players are given three cards in every round. The value of their hand will
depend on the card combination they get and how they rank in this game's
Ranking List. The best-paying hand is a combination of three court cards.
Player must have a better car than the banker in order to win.
Texas Hold ‘Em. Each player will be given two face-up
cards while the dealer’s cards are dealt face down. Three community cards will then
be distributed. Based on the standard hierarchy of poker hands, the game will
automatically reveal if the player (or the dealer) has the better hand than his
or her opponent.
Pai Gow Poker. In this game, Player and Dealer each receives seven
cards and then split them between a five-card hand and a two-card hand, where
the former must always out-value the latter. Pai Gow Poker features five-card
hands that can be ranked the same way as the standard poker, EXCEPT that ‘Five
Aces’ is higher than a Royal Flush and the Wheel (A-2-3-4-5) is the second
highest straight. The two-card hands are one pair and high card. The highest
two-card hand is a pair of Aces, and the lowest is 3-2.
