3 Petty Mistakes That You Should Avoid In Jacks Or Better

Jacks Or Better is one of the easiest casino games that a player can exploit and take advantage of. The game does not require expertise, only familiarity with the hierarchy of poker hands and it yields lucrative results.

Another attribute, which makes Jacks or Better popular is allowing the player to strategize and do away with the guessing game.

However, members often commit mistakes that hamper them from getting the best out of this online casino game. These are the following:

Relying on open straight draws
One of the most common mistakes of players is their heavy reliance on open straight draws. On a closer look, it can be observed that this particular combination has a low possibility of showing up in your screen. More often than not, it is the 4th or last card that flops. Now compare this to the possibility of a flush showing up, it is evident that the latter creates better winning opportunities.

The pairs
Some players get confused why their pairs did not generate a win. But what they failed to understand is that a win is not possible if the pair has a value lower than a pair of Jacks. It is not called Jacks or Better for nothing.

Regular flush than royal flush
Contrary to popular opinion, to go for three (3) cards and opt for a royal flush is better than settling for  four (4) cards and hope for a regular flush. This is because having 3 cards mean that the remaining 2 cards can be used to set-up a pair just in case the royal flush does not push through.

Indeed, it is true that Jacks or Better is easy and simple and that you do not really need to strategize. But as you can see, a little bit of tweaking your methods can definitely make a difference in terms of your winning possibilities.
